Text Box: What We Believe – We believe in God — Father and Creator — who made all things and called them good. – We believe in Jesus Christ — God who came to us in human flesh — who gave up His life so that we can be forgiven of our sins, and rose from the dead so that we may have eternal life. – We believe in the Holy Spirit — God present with us — who comforts us and strengthens us to live according God's plan. – We believe in the Bible — God's inspired Word — which gives us all knowledge necessary to know, love and serve God. – We believe in the Church — the Body of Christ — believers who gather together to share in worship, fellowship, service and love. – We believe that all people, even though we are stained by sin, are loved by God who desires for everyone to come to know and love Him, to be forgiven and cleansed of sin, and to live a new life of joy and peace which begins as we come to trust Him and lasts for all eternity. Our understanding of God — Father, Son and Holy Spirit — is based on the Bible. We also draw on the tradition of the Christian faith, the experiences we share of God's work in our lives, and our God-given power of reasoning to help us to understand how God is at work in our lives. But the Bible is central and is the one great authority by which all our understanding is measured. Home
